Why is Quinoa good for you?

Quinoa is another super food built for eternity. While the chia seed was the strength that built the Aztecs, the “Mother Grain” was the super food behind the Incas. The Inca were one of the most impressive societies in our hemispheric history, whose ruins to this day represent some of the foremost archaeological splendors on Earth. Quinoa, or the mother grain as it was known, is one of the most powerful super foods in the world.

Quinoa is gluten-free and full of complete proteins

 Quinoa is known as a pseudo-cereal. In actuality it is a seed cooked much like rice. Quinoa is naturally gluten-free, and one of the best sources of BCAA’s found in nature. It’s a Non-GMO, often organic whole grain.

Quinoa contains large amounts of flavonoids

While they may sound more like an alien species, flavonoids are among the greatest benefits of a plant based diet.
